Sapta Rangi Samunnat...we're LIVE!!!!!
The Samunnat online shop is now live!!!! Go and look at it here then come straight back. Feel free to spend some money there. Some of you will know that with respect to maths, business, logic and most things computing, I am a little bit differently abled. Singing too, while we are making lists. As well as in the more obvious area. Therefore the birth of the Samunnat etsy shop has been somewhat more of an ordeal for me that it would be for anyone else. It wouldn't have happened without Polymer Clay Daily's magnificent Cynthia Tinapple who, continuing with the birth metaphor, was a bit like the father, sewing the seed so to speak. There was a long, at times anxious, gestation which took place in three continents, and finally the birth. And that would not have happened without the assistance of our primary birth attendant, the wonderful Genevieve Williamson, a polymer artiste extraordinaire (and there's one lucky Hill resident who owns some of her original work!!) and etsy veteran (see her shop here). She also did a nice line in online preparation for etsy parenthood classes. Marianne Elliott was (without realising it) a birth attendant too. I guess she was encouraging me to Push Now! She'll get a whole post one day.Read the Samunnat post about the shop here which has a little explanation about what sapta rangi means in our banner. And why it is very special to us.So, I'm sorry about the blog cross pollination here but you all know how it goes. This is a huge step for us and we are being courageous as we move on. Baby steps. Mainly for my sake.
