We are all innately creative. Even those of you who think that you haven’t got a creative bone in your body! We have evolved to create. But we forget that. I design my classes to remind you of this! You can find all of the classes here.

I love reconnecting people with their creativity and love to see the delight and surprise on people’s faces when they make something they didn’t think they were capable of!

  • You'll learn more than just techniques...

…and you won’t make something that looks exactly the same as the person next to you. In my classes you learn so much more than techniques. (That’s why photos for classes are just a guide!) You will learn how to use techniques to create something that is uniquely yours! You’ll also learn how to build creativity into your life to help improve your mental health!

  • We're aiming for joy and delight...

…and you’ll get just that being one of only seven. With the luxury of a such a small group, you get one on one support and more opportunities to explore your ideas. Students come thinking they’ll be learning about just making jewellery but leave feeling so refreshed and restored. It’s kind of like therapy! This is just (almost?) as important as walking out with fabulous new jewellery.

  • Even when the class is over...

…you’ll have the confidence and skills to keep exploring your new skills on your own. You won’t have to do another class to keep creating. (But I hope you do!) Nor will you have a long list of things to buy. Everything you need for the activity is provided and you may even have many of the other things you’ll need at home! This is one of the many reasons that I love using polymer clay in teaching.

  • Where?

Classes are held in my lovely, light filled studio in Albury, on the NSW/Vic border. Albury is a delightful regional city on the Murray River and handy to beautiful North East Victorian towns of Beechworth and Yackandandah. You receive details and my exact location when you’re booked in.

  • When?

I run several 5 week evening courses in Term 2 and 3. I also teach single day classes on a number of weekends through the year but mainly in Term 2 and 3. See the classes available in the Shop for details and dates. Additionally, if you have a group of 6-8, contact me to arrange a time that suits you!

  • How Much and What do I get?

The 5 week course cost $300 and single day courses cost $150. (Word of the Year and the Mothers’ Day class differ. See shop for details) This covers all the materials you need, access to any tools required, healthy and delicious morning and afternoon tea and possibly a coffee made by Albury’s best barista (I may be biased) You’ll get a fabulous class created by me, based on years of teaching experience and a huge amount of passion. All you need to do is bring lunch and leave that inner critic behind.
