# 15 Colour courage

In my purple, jade and magenta years I would have scoffed at anyone who said I would one day wear puce!  Let alone reasonably regularly.  For a period of approximately 10 years, I wore an extremely limited palette.  Due to laziness and lack of confidence really.  But living in Nepal opened me up to wild and exotic colour combinations.  And not just on other people.  Generous gifts from Nepali friends meant I had to get used to those colours on me!  Now, if anything my colour would be red.  But that is stretching it as I wear just about any colour except perhaps yellow.  The Nepali ladies do that SO well.This necklace (# 15) combines my old colour (purple) with my new colour (red) which is not a particulary wild combination -think royalty!   But throwing  the puce/ apricot into the mix is not something I'd have tried 5 years ago.  But now....hold me back!
