Folded # 14

After the preparation  for the Fantastic Folds class I had a good collection of Fantastic Folded canes and had fun playing around with them.  The colours were taken from Robert Powell's paintings of Lo Manthang in Upper Mustang and I wanted to make a necklace that used simple, repeated shapes reminiscent of the dwellings there.This was a lovely necklace to make - I was thoughtful and reflective while I made it - and I am really happy with the way it sits too.  Having a nice bust (and here I refer to my dummy rather than any suddenly appearing good bosom) makes getting necklaces to sit nicely much easier.I am going to make more in this style when I get back.
